History of the Element

Fluorine was found by Henri Moissan, Fluorine was found in France 1886. fluorine is found on the Earth's crust where it can be found in rocks, coal and clay. Today you can find Fluorine in Mexico, China and Western Europe. It is the lightest halogen and exists as a highly toxic pale yellow diatomic gas at standard conditions.
